It is undeniable that platforms are becoming an essential part of the world economy. Their proliferation is overwhelming, sometimes even able to design how we live our lives these days. Platforms are the places where we go to watch our favorite movies and listen to our favorite music. Platforms are the mechanisms behind us going on holidays to someone’s house or us catching a car to drive somewhere in the city. Platforms are also the virtual markets where some of us buy our everyday goods and even find new jobs. Platforms are everywhere, including the printing industry, where we find them in different shapes and forms. During this session we would like to explore how platforms are present in the printing industry and how the users, producers and owners of those platforms see themselves supporting our business growth.
