About this talk

Events continue to suffer the harsh realities of the COVID-19 pandemic. While we all want events to return to play a key role in the recovery, is this a moment for the global print community to play a role in redefining what this means?

What will the events of the future look like, and what their purpose might be?

There is no doubt that right now is a watershed moment for events. In Germany, events have already returned, supported by the German government and in a country which has a strong culture of support for events and their importance for the economy. In other countries in Europe, this may not be the case, and whatever support governments may provide, is now a good opportunity to redefine events?

What is our view of what events need to do in the future? What format? Where? Are global events going to become a luxury and national events the new reality? Will hybrid live and virtual events become the norm?

Regardless of format, FuturePrint Survey results also show that innovation continues. We will all still need to see innovation and technology, we will still want to network, meet experts, consultants and discuss the future. So events are a necessity! Buts what might the event landscape of the future look like?

We hope you join VPress and FuturePrint for what will likely be a lively and thought-provoking discussion.
